Taking a good look at yourself in the mirror is about more than checking the straightness of your tie or the way you hair looks. When you make the magic of gratitude your way of life, everything in the world around you magically changes. Change the person in the mirror, and your world will change.
The Great Thanksgiving
When you are grateful to be the person in the mirror, feelings of dissatisfaction, disappointment, discontent or inadequacy completely disappear. When YOU are grateful to be YOU, you will only attract circumstances that make you feel better about yourself. When you are grateful for yourself, you don’t blame or criticize yourself. When you are grateful for being you, you are happy and therefore you magnetically attract happy people, happy situations and magical circumstances. The people and circumstances that are consistently attracted to you are mirrors of yourself. Mirroring show us ourselves.
The Magic – Day 27
The Magic Mirror
- Count Your Blessings: Make a list of 10 blessings. Write why you’re grateful. Re-read your list, and say thank you, thank you, thank you, and feel gratitude for each one.
- Each time you look at yourself in a mirror today, say thank you, and mean it more than you ever have before.
- If you are really brave, while looking in the mirror, say three things you’re grateful for about yourself.
- Just before you go to sleep tonight, hold your Magic Rock in one hand, and say the magic words, thank you, thank you, thank you for the best thing that happened during the day.
Tomorrow is the final gratitude practice!
